I became quite proficient in the art of self healing and understanding the deeper and more complex energies of the human body. This has greatly increased my awareness of self, life and enhanced my skills dramatically. Just a few of the injuries my body has endured, but not all; 20 broken and or cracked bones, 7 severed tendons, many sprains of ankle and wrist, 5 chest wall contusions, a partially collapsed chest wall, collapsed left lung, 7 major concussions, 5 stab wounds, bullet grazings, one shattered foot, broken teeth, over 35 major lacerations, two dislocated shoulders, many lacerated tendons and torn ligaments, damaged spleen, lungs, stomach and small intestine from being poisoned in chemical warfare many years ago, 4 near death experiences (drowning twice, electrocution and poisoning resulting in 3 cardiac arrests), nerve damage, dysautonomia, PoTS, and neuroimmune complications, plus slow vision and hearing loss.
Though all of that might sound frightening, it has served to supply me with insight, awareness, and greater perspective that has only enhanced my Seiðr practices in ways I would never have been able to acquire any other way.
It is our reaction to specific energy flows that determines our experience of, with and through it. Night and day, sunny or cloudy, spring or autumn, fighting or contentment, health or ill; our reaction to everything we encounter dictates what our experience will be with it. How we view something, how we feel about it formulates how we experience it. This is life on this world. If we are open to and aware, we find that things we seem to “lose” in life, we gain in other aspects.
I require lots of downtime or I cannot function, literally. Therefore I use a first come first serve policy, and work from there. Nevertheless, anyone who knows me understands that I don’t quit, I embrace challenge, if something prevents me from moving forward I roll off and continue on in another direction. My creative energy has always been so strong that it always finds a way to move and express. The wolf will never cease moving through the forest. So long as he breathes he must move, and when breath ceases he will continue to roam in spirit.
